Jingle Bell Ball

Hi everyone, as my first blog post I’m going to keep it simple. I’m going to tell you what I did Saturday. Saturday night my sister and I attended the Jingle Bell Ball hosted by Capital FM, the tickets were a surprise early Christmas present from my parents. This year’s Jingle Bell Ball was sponsored by Coca-Cola (Which is even better in my opinion because I love Coca-Cola around Christmas time).

The Coca-Cola Company brought the Coca-Cola truck from the Christmas advert to the O2 Arena. It was brilliant everybody could have their photos taken with it and receive free Christmas can of coke!

The line-up for the Saturday night was as follows: Katy Perry, Tinie Tempah, Disclosure, Olly Murs, Union J, James Arthur, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks and Naughty Boy. Olly Murs done an amazing job at opening the show and had some crazy dance moves, one of the highlights of the night. Other artists that were really on top of their game were Disclosure and Ellie Goulding, but the true star of the show was Tinie Tempah. Tinie managed to get around 16,000 people singing to written in the stars; he was so shocked he stopped the music and just listened to everyone singing one of his songs.

Dave Berry and Lisa Snowden were also there helping to present the show, other special guests included: Little Nikki (She was brilliant), DJ Fresh, Eliza Doolittle, Elyar Fox, Ella Eyre, Shezar, Tanika, Sam Smith, John Martin, Aluna Francis and Sacha Keable. These were all great to see especially Sam Smith who came on stage twice!

Before the show everybody was given a free Coca-Cola Light up ring that was extremely bright, during the concert when all of the lights were turned off it looked like thousands of stars light up over the arena it was magical and truly gave the atmosphere that Christmasy feeling.

The one negative point I have about the Jingle Bell Ball would be the price of the food! It cost me nearly £10 for some nacho that had nothing on them (basically a bag of crisps) I would advise to eat beforehand!

After my experience with the Jingle Bell Ball I am definitely going to look into the Summer Time Ball next year! – I hope you all enjoyed reading this!

Love, Taylor xx
